Jaco has more than 20 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity for Information technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT). He leverages IT and Engineering skills and experiences to design, develop and implement controls that support the safeguarding of critical computing systems from cyber threats.

He is the EY ASEAN OT Cybersecurity Competency & Centre of Excellence Lead. He is also the EY ASEAN Cybersecurity Lead for the Energy Sector.
He has experience with clients in multiple industries – Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Life Sciences, Manufacturing and Financial Services.

Jaco also recently chaired the EY Energy Cyber Smart Connect, promoting cross-industry collaboration among Energy Sector CISOs and Senior Security Leaders to enhance cybersecurity resilience.
